of Nobu and Mid Semester Break and Girls NIght Out

The last couple of weeks were stressful and hectic but at least, the girls have finished most of their assignments and tests by friday. Even before that, in late March, we already decided that we deserve a night of luxury and fun and good food after all those assignments and tests so we reserved a table at Nobu on the 19th of April 2008 at 6.30p.m. yea, we planned ahead =D It was another fabulous night out with the pies and of course, we took a few hundred photos again XD I will start of with photos of food so that you can skip all the vain photos of ours and save yourself from yet another haunting experience. no worries =D

FOOD

we started of with 2 drinks. this is mango martini

and emperial martini.

so small yet so expensive =( but no doubt, they taste good.

sushi hand rolls

we had soft shell crab sushi and home-sth (white fish and salmon) they really were heavenly~~~ i just can't have enough of the crab *yum yum*

sorry i dunno what this is called =P

this is our salmon salad. the vege was oh-so-crispy, the texture of the salmon was just nice and the sauce tasted very oriental (but a little bit like mee cintan with sesame oil) haha

and this is their signature dish. black cod with miso. i hate fish but this one just tasted so good i can die!

tiger prawn with garlic and something else. but i think this dish is so-so-only =)

and here come the skewers

and scallops. but personally, i think the zucchini tasted better than the scallop itself

i dunno what it's called but it is 2nd on the dessert menu. i love this desser the most!!!

so a.h.e.m. this is the end of the food part, you know what to do if you have anykind of underlying heart problem =D

the Girls

this time, we went to Janet and Jess's place to get ready for our big night out!

what to do, we won be going to any ball anytime soon so we just somehow took this opportunity to doll up a little

and everytime after we dress up, we will take a zillion photos at home before we step out of the door. you know, just in case the wind is too strong outside, or if it rains. we should always be prepared and expect for the worst shouldn't we? haha

and again, before we stepped out from the main entrance of their apartment! wee~~~

that aunty was so out of place, and she looked pissed... or confused.

but who cares, we are get used to people throwing us weird look when we are taking photos in the public. *in my most bimbotic tone + rolling eye what-e-ver*

oh don't get me wrong, Janet is not an alcoholic, she just loves alcohol =D

and it's dessert time! girls and dessert, we are born to be together!

and so that was it, dinner at Nobu is over ;)

but i definitely will go back again! muah muah

after that we walked around crown seeing that it was still early. I even went into the casino for the first time. It was hilarious. when we walked in, the guard asked fo our IDs. and again, we were all WELL PREPARED!

guard: after you ladies go in, stay in there as long as possible and don't come out unless it's necessary. cause they will check your IDs again and that will be quite troublesome.

hahahahaha!!!! laugh die me can!! we really changed THAT much?!?

and mummy, good news for you! your bag is still on display =D

janet was doing the dishes when we were self potraiting but hey, good friends won leave their friend out so we took photo with her washing the dishes.
