Saturday

There's a few terminology that you need to know in order to make sense of this post.
*
Terminology:
SAIL (Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning) Program is a volunreery run, non profit, secular organization which provide a variety of free services to Melbourne's Sudanese Community.
*
SALP (Student Ambassador Leadership Program) by the University of Melbourne
*
most saturday (except those before my every 3 weeks quiz), sis and I will go to Dandenong to do some extended program with SAILs. It is an one hour after tutorial get together thingy and we played some sports, did some art work and basically just spent time with the kids. It was good fun! most of the kids are really friendly :D
this week we did play dough

mix flour, salt and water together and add in some food dye when the dough starts to harden and there you go!

sounds easy isn't it? but our play dough session was MESSY. and the reason was? too much water and not enough flour o.O

but we did have a great deal of fun though.
you can imagine the cleaning up part =.=
i intended to make a cup cake but the kids kept on kept on asking me for my dough everytime they were well mixed :( honestly, deep inside, i am a bit bit reluctant since it was my first time dealing with play dough and i simply wanted a cupcake, but imagine a confrontation between a tiny 8 y.o and huge 19y.o, wouldn't be a very pleasant sight i reckon :p
sis and her SALP group members
(i.e. people that SHOULD be there)
and me, i am 'the 5th person'
(i.e. the nothing-to-do-who-tagged-along)
dun care, it was fun!
