half way there
and i have been saying this a lot. and i am going to say it again. because i have been saying this to the same few people. and i haven't got a chance to tell other people about this. (see it is always my intention to confuse people)
I AM HALF WAY THROUGH MED SCHOOL
WE ARE HALF WAY THROUGH MED SCHOOL
i don't know about you, but i find this a bit bit unbelievable. half way there!!! i am pretty excited. but of course i find this a little daunting as well. i can't wait to graduate from med school and again, i don't mind keep on studying. my point is - this is an AWESOME feeling.
okay, serious matter aside. as much as i LOVE ams, one thing i can't stand is that there is NO mirror within the 100m locus where i work. there is ONE in the toilet down the corridor but i didn't know it is there until a month ago. and come on, everyone (everyone except neurosurgeons), needs mirror. we need to know what we look like after spending 3 hrs staring at the very artistic handwriting in the medical files (which is very often accompanied by a fair amount of hair pulling and head scrathing and swearing), you don't want to scare people away do you? well i don't. My point is, there is no accessible mirror at my workplace, and i really really need mirror, and being the very resourceful person that I am, i use the built in webcam on my laptop. and yes, u know what happened next.

DON'T JUDGE ME!
working long hours does this to you. you just have to believe me.
yes you have to!
and knowing me, you know my post is not a post if there is no baking :) i made lemon curd filled lemon cupcakes on Thursday. simply because i had 1 kg of lemon and a dozens of eggs. and i felt like baking.

and because i never need a reason to bake

and i want to bake

and then i realize that's a reason why i am not doing law :P

anyway, aren't they LOVELY? cupcakes are the best gift! really!
know you are going to ask ~~~ RECIPE
and before you proceed and start saying what a loser i am and i don have a life yada yada yada. i went to the beach :P

Dexter aka Jacq' s little brother;
(are you confused already?)

the weather was splendid. we strolled along the beach, peep at shirtless hot guys (i mean I); had a bit of chit chat; did a bit of "ART"work *cough* Jacq *cough* and had FISH AND CHIPS!!!!

and people, this is what younger brother is for :)
*
there happen to be a LAURENT in South Melbourne

oh and how i LOVE this place.
*
if anything happen to my med degree, i don't mind having one of this.
you know, just a thought.
and just to clarify, i am still very much in love with medicine. and the brain.
*
okay~ i have a flight to catch.
bye bye people
and bye my love.

i will miss you.
