of chocolate and green pepper and beaches and cupake carrier
Hey People, long time no see :) well, I haven't been particularly busy - I have no excuse this time, i just have stuff to do - stuff like going to safeway everyday because i hate doing statistic, stuff like making CNY cookies because this year is going to be the first year i am spending my CNY without my parents, stuff like doing the online tutorials for BOTH SPSS and Stata because one is recommended but i dun have access to because the license has expired and another one is not recommended but i have access to and well when u dunno what to choose, DON'T. do both. stuff like writng my 10,000 words thesis - yeap i started writing my first 1000 words today. stuff like meeting the statistician to make sure that i use the right stat tests for my data analysis. stuff like going with friends because i heart my friends. stuff like going to gelatissimo because it is so freaking hot in melbourne.
and of course stuff like baking.

and who said baking is not arts.
baking is more than that.
it is chemistry.
it is passion.
and it is therapeutic.
and of course it usually involves chocolate

which i absolutely adore - and i know is sth we share
Cherry Chocolate Cupcake (PW Recipe)

and since i had quite a bit of berries left in my freezer, i used berries instead of cherry

and i happen to like berries too, not so much so of how they taste like, but more of how they look like. well, i can be superficial that way. :P *
and people, this is what fan forced oven can do to your cakes

it mercilessly FORCE-blow the batter to one side. and THIS, this is something that i absolutely CANNOT stand! my oven in melbourne is lousy that way :(
but dun get me wrong, i am grateful that i even have one :)

and what i think make this cupcake POPS is the ganache (how do you pronounce this word again?)

the rich choloate and the slight hint of honey = heavenlya bit of liquer will do the trick too *grin*
*
it's filling
it's my comfort food
it's easy to make
and u can actually store them really well in the fridge
it suits lazy people like me :D

and the thing i like about this recipe is the vege.
well i dun usually put vege in my pasta - because it feels weird, and because i usually cook tomato base pasta, and mainly because sis has the tendency of picking every single string of green from her pasta. but this recipe is somewhat different - i think sis actually finished everything. at least her plate was empty when i saw it.

green pepper bell is essential. trust me. and i am amazed of how this little green manage to make me feel - you know - healthier :P

oh and the chicken toooo. Grilled Cajun Chicken is to die for.

and u can actually stop here and forget about the pasta and start eating! cut down the carb, it's good for you :)*
and then i realized i haven been taking photo with ME in it for a while now. and i actually miss myself. dun ask me how - i just do. after my failed attempt to find some decent photo of me from my laptop, i tried facebook. and i came across these pictures.

and for once facebook made my day

they were taken last year in December

when my hair was still pretty long. *
i miss the girls ;) all of them
*
and i miss my family toooooooooo. *hugs*
*
and mum, i want this

can i have one of this? please? *beams*
