Baking Through My Journey As a Doctor to Be

i am home alone. sis went to Mary's birthday celebration, Ai ming went to buy b'day present for a friend and jess went to ivan's place =) actually dun mind staying at home because this is the time when i can do something constructive, and even if i have nth to do, i would still prefer to stay at home than wandering around the city... only if the oven in the kitchen is working ;)

i went to st. vincent hospital this morning and we had a seminar regarding type 1 diabetes. there were 4 patients and a physician and that session was really informative. we were given a chance to have an insight of what it is like to live with an illness and how do they manage to cope. they talked about a whole range of things from their parents' response (type 1 diabetes has earlier onset), their childhood, their experiences at school, social acceptance, health cover, occupation, discrimination, relationships, finding balance between self sufficience and independence... *solute*

2 more days to go before holidays but i dun really look forward to because my routine will certainly go out of whack and i will definitely be wasting my time doing unneccessary stuff ==" oh well, will see how it goes~~~
