mom's 45th bday

tomorrow is my beloved mum's 45th birthday. that's mainly the reason why we came home in such a rush =) so i decided to BAKE mum's birthday cake =D

this time, i decided to do thing a little differently so i made cupcakes. mini cupcakes. and LOTS and LOTS of them! guess how many? *wide grin*
125 of them! yes you hear me right. 125 + a dozen more that i ate in the process of baking :p
they are really NICE i have to say. Guinness and chocolate. hmm~~~ it is the BEST combination of all. the aroma was just unspeakably good...

and what is the best way to present those lovely cupcakes than a cupcake tier

i just LOVE ribbons. so feminine so graceful
i use different champagne/ white wine/ red wine glasses as the stand and i think that make the tier even more elegant (i stole the idea from a baking blog online *hehe*)

at 11a.m. my ties is 4 'storey' highbut at 2 oclock, i decided to add the 5th storey because i just have TOO MANY cupcakes

so there you go. i am so proud of myself. haha
