Starting Out My Journey As a Doctor to Be

of growing up, moving on and farewell

this week is my last week on campus. from next semester onwards, i am going to spend the rest of my journey as a medical student at the hospitals (a.k.a. clinical school) and i am getting a bit emotional.

i am going to miss the medical building

eventhough it's one of the oldest building on campus

and despite the fact that it was flooded twice in a row within a one week window, and the lifts are so slow it's faster to take the stairs to the 7th floor than the lift, i have never felt more at ease at any other buildings than this very-ancient-make-me-feel-a-bit-more-intelectual place :)

medical students don't have the luxury to use all those fancy facilities

the also very famous Sunderland Theatre

it's has the reputation of having the largest most humongous desks

and the most uncomfortable chairs

and overacting heating system that ventilate stinking air

but above all this, it's a place we call HOME.

and then here comes our historical intelectual hub

which sis refers as the public toilet

honestly, u wouldn't know that it's a library unless you're an 'inside man'. but again, it's a place where the geeky meddies gather during lecture breaks and slightly-less-nerdy people like us hang out and grab a quick nap between lecture.

not until a friend put it that way that i finally feel like 'the end is near'. i have been thinking about it but listening to those words said aloud definitely make a deeper impact.

and since it's highly likely that we'll all be going to different clinical school next year, i am going to miss my mate so darn much!
