of shopoholic and bakoholic

yesterday the pies/ OVC had our *mid sem* girls night out. shopping & dinner & movie & supper. it was a great night out :D well we din't actually go to anywhere far or exceptionally glam but you know, it's the company that matters. so we kicked start or night with

BURGERS @ GRILL'D

their burgers are nice and chips are superb!

but i have to say that their 'Simon Says' was a little blend =.= but i think they're just trying to be a little more health conscious because the burgers at grill'd are supposingly low in fats and healthy ^.^

then we went to melbourne central

they were giving out free wine and champagne!!!!

and yes we had FREE drinks~~~

and we all love the moscato!

i mean the wine

at first i din dare to drink because i nearly got drunk one time when i had only a tiny but of champagne. giddy, sleepy and blushing during PBL. it wasn't very pleasant.
BUT
i ended up having one because of the peer pressure :p

after the very 'glam' wine tasting, it's movie time!!!
we watched

THE CONFESSION OF A SHOPOHOLIC!

and boy it was GOOD! we laughed so much! and the lead guy is kind cute too!!!! OKAY I ADMIT, VERY CUTE!!!! ME LIKEY!!!!!! we went all oooo and awww through out the movie. *sigh*

after the movie ai ming and jess came to our place to combine and collect all the photos that we took that night (yea we do that all the time)

and we had pancake for supper!!!
oh boy, all the calories... o.O

i know my kitchen is MESSY. shut up! we cleant them this morning :p

SATURDAY MORNING

after all the burgers and chips and pancakes, I realized that i had in fact eaten a leeeeeeetle too much, so i joint sis and jess for their weekend morning jog :D

ai ming was supposed to come too.
she promised.
but she PPK us.
as usual =.=

okay la, we weren't REALLY jogging.
i had this tightness around my chest/ elephant crushing/ can't get enough air into my lungs feeling while jogging
i have a very weak/ fargile heart. *grin*

so we (I) ended up taking photos~~~

the weather was just tooooo niceeeee.

we JOGGED to docklands and of course, took more photos~

and now i have an announcement to make.

yesh they are my *NEW* baking kits!

some i bought and some are from mel~

check out the heart shape measuring cups! aren't they gorgeous and cute????????

they made my days. many many days!

and also the cake tester and cake brush. *touched*

and and and also the porcelain baking trays. they are on sales so i bought 2. and surprisingly sis actually let me. i'm HAPPY~~ *la la la*

so with my babies,

i can reproduce

and make more

and double chocolate chips muffins

and i am NOT boasting.

they taste HEAVENLY~

my home smelt of chocolate now. and i am loving it~

okay, now I have a CONFESSION to make.

i think i am addicted to baking. i always always have this urge to bake and when i have it, i can't refrain myself from baking. no matter how busy i am. i tried not to buy the ingredients for baking but i somehow managed to find some recipe from the internet which doesn't recquire THOSE stuffs that i didn't buy. so i gave up. i bought whatever i need and ended up baking a lot! a lot lot lot. i am so screwed.

oh oh oh and one more thing!

and yesh i am going to bring along my BIMBONESS and paint it PINK

Field Visit

i went to my second field visit at east melbourne today. i've visited a GP for my 1st field visit and today's doctor was a PCR, lung and respiratory specialist. he was good and he tried to teach us as much thing as possible but sadly, i dun understand most of thing he had told me because i'm a med student for only 24 days. what do u expect from me? HAHA. east melbourne is a nice place, quiet and clean and green:-

no this is not the hospital i went to, we just happened to walk pass this church like apartment.

one of the reason i love field trip so much is i get to dress up and look pro.

trust me, eventhough we just go there, shut up and listen, field visit is exhausting. but hey, not many people get to witness real consultations in the 3rd week of the course!!! Melb Uni rocks~ that is so cool. just sitting there and introducing urself as a med student makes everything worth it!
