Sydney Trip

so my mum and brother came to melbourne over the easter break. it was a 10 days trip and since there was nothing much *ahem* happening in melbourne, we went to sydney! the trip was fun, we did some shopping, sight seeing, rode the water taxi, dined at fancy restaurants, took loads and loads of photos... it was a good and relaxing trip but i have to say, i still prefer Melbourne over Sydney, it's the sense of familiarity i suppose, i am not a very adventurous person :)
Darling Harbour
first stop, we went to the must go Darling Harbour and the first thing that we did?
EAT!!!
oh tell me my brother is NOT cute *xoxo*
after lunch, we felt lazy so instead of touring around darling harbour, we decided to take the water taxi to the opera house
the Junior Gohs
mummy and me!
many people said that my mum looks like my friend/ sister and tell you what? my mum *loves* it! LOL
*
Sydney Opera House
and what was the first thing we did when we arrived?
*
we EAT
and that's why we're all of "slightly" bigger size :p
and that's also the reason why it's so hard for me to get up from a squating position XD
*
mum, split fingers is not for guys!
s.m.i.l.e.

Sydney Royal Botanical Garden
love the green green grass
*
and why is this photo so special?
zhung ee took it for us :D

Dinner @ Meat Wine & Co. Sydney
i fell in love with meat wine & co after i first tried it on my b'day
so where else to dine when there is one at Darling Harbour?
we didn't have any reservation but luckily we got an exceptionally nice table! i love the cozy homey feeling!

Royal Easter Show
coincidentally, the weekend that we were at Sydney was Easter Weekend.
so we went to the very famous Royal Easter Show!
it was held at the Olympic Park and gee that place was literally congested
*
the Royal Easter Show was very much like Melbourne Show with
farm animals
which my mum dislikes
*
garden and flowers
which mummy thought was unimpressive

and some food expo
where we bought some really overpriced waffles
*
i have to say that we didn't really enjoy the show but we're glad we went there:)
next stop - Queen Victoria Building
that place was so old and historic and glam
we love it!

and then we went searching for those high end stores
you know, just for fun :p
along Pitt Street

Canberra
on the 3rd day of our Sydney Trip, we joint a day tour to Canberra - the capital territory.
gee the place was so intellectual o.O
thank god i am not studying at ANU
*
1st stop - Canberra National Muzeum
we were given a very thorough introduction regarding the social history of Oz.
i think that was the only useful thing i've done for my entire easter break =.=
Parliament House

House of Representative
House of Senate
War Muzeum
the kiddos

so that was it, our trip to Sydney.
*
mum and bro should be boarding the flight back to KL at this moment. Have a safe trip mummy and we'll see you soon!
xoxo
