of father and daughter and everything else

Daddy called yesterday night. and he was concerned. really concerned. and that is unusual. i rarely make my parents worried, i have always been a very good girl you see. okay, a part from those many times when i cried before i came to melbourne after EVERY semester break, and when i didn't answer their calls because my phone was on silent mode, and when i bake too often, and when i drive. well the point is, daddy read my previous post, and after thanking me for the wedding anniversary part, he went on to the dating part =.=

so just to clarify, the point that i was trying to make is that my parents were (and are still) able to strike a balance between careers and family whereas i don't think i would be able to do that. and call me old fashion, but u can't actually start a family without dating first right? *more tentatively* right??? hence come the dating part. bottomline is , i was trying to praise my parents but i ended up portraying myself as a ranting miserable soul. but at least u guys had a good laugh. so everything is good :D (-read-despo and emo are not my thing)

and i finally got my laptop back! life without laptop was indescribably inconvenient. and the fact that RMH is still using Microsoft 2000 in the library doesn't help at all. 10 days without my red flashy laptop and i nearly got depression. thank god i got it back. and the fan is working alright now, using my laptop in such p.e.a.c.e. is a blessing :P

and dear jacq just had her 21st a few days ago. i think she had a blast :) everything went well, jacq looked gorgeous in her 'country western style' dress (she made all of her guests wore jeans and boots though - but anything for you jacq :D) the speech went well - thanks to mel, and the part that jacq bang into the door was another classic :) i will save the rest for her wedding :)

mel and i are going to cambodia in May. and now i am one step closer to being who i want to be.

i went to victoria market, search through every single aisle and found the stall i wanted to find at the last unit. i just LOVE it when that happen.

and i have got LOTS of movies in my laptop now. i am happy and contented and trying very hard to not start watching any movie until i have got the Methodology part of my thesis done. we shall see :)
