of sorethroat and movies and smiley

and so another week has passed and i am down with a sorethroat. and you won't believe how much i hate having a sorethroat. and runny nose for that matter. i would rather get a fever, have an operation, get knocked by a car - anything along those line than to have a sorethroat. and/or runny nose. of course i know having a sorethroat is much less serious and lethal, but in my humble opinion, it's nothing less delibitating and annoying. just think of it this way, people need to breath and swallow all the time, hence u feel more strongly the presence of the inconvenience. on the other hand, say you got hit by a car or you sprained your ankle, yes it hurts more and it might take a while for you to get better, BUT because they are classified as 'more serious' illnesses, you are entitle to enter your sick role model, you will be taken care of, you get time off work, you are not supposed to do anything difficult, yes you still have to breath and swallow your saliva, but walking is optional. point taken? well, this is just one of my many twisted philosophies. have i told you that i hate sorethroat and runny nose?

on a lighter note, i have watched a lot of movies for the pass few days. and when i say a lot, i do mean a lot. Working on my thesis in the day, watching movies at night, using our 9 inches Dell INSPIRON mini. aren't you amazed by my determination?

The Hurt Locker
- a very good movie but but with too many explosions. and the first person was killed 7 minutes into the film. heavy.
Law Abiding Citizen
- extremely disturbing and depressing. brutal and shall i say, a little ridiculous. you can't dig into isolation cells of a prison can you? i like gerard butler more in P.S. I love you. yes because i have an extra X chromosome.
Laws of Attraction
- definitely lifted my spirit up. i first watched it in 2004 and i have been dying to watch it again since then. love it. love it. love it
The Pursuit of Happyness
- wookay. another not so light movie. very touching and movitating but heart wrenching nonetheless. but at least there was a happy ending.
Brother Bear
- i think this is the only Disney movie without a princess (or equivalent). i spy sth green - tree. i spy sth tall - tree. i spy sth with branches - tree. i spy sth ... - tree.
The Fantastic Mr. Fox
- i dun get it
The Invention of Lying
- hard to believe but the lines were hilarious. words of the day - genetic match.
Madagascar
- i heart the cute and cuddly penguins.
Up In the Air
- how far is 10 million miles? and it seems like careers and family can hardly co-exist.

i think i watched too many movies. but this is just a phase. i am getting over it.
having mention that, this is what we learnt in med school in semester 4.

Photobucket
and i think we could improvise it a little
Photobucket

well i have a thing for smiley. i think i am in my corpus luteal stage now. and that's why i watch so many movies. too much details you say. well mine has never been regular. go figure.

HAPPY SUNDAY PEOPLE!
