I games

Friday was I GAMES and i have to say, it was AWESOME!!! I games is an annual event held by the only 4 international student societies in Melbourne Uni : international medical student society (IMSS), international law (ILSS), commerce (ICSS) and engineering (IESS). they are 5 different games, soccer, basketball, volley ball, badminton and dodgeball and I_SS will compete among each other to win the trophy. IL was the champion for 2004 & 2005, IM won the 2006's I games but this year, IE is the champion. we had been planning for I games since June and friday was our BIG DAY. i received an email the day before saying that IM committees have to be there before 8.30 a.m. i reached there at 8.20 a.m. and waited until 8.40 a.m. but

this was what happened between my 20 minutes in the rain.

ISOLATION and WET

but people starting to arrive around 8.45 a.m., pamela, then jasmine, followed by melissa, andrew and jacqueline ... at 9.00 o clock sharp, it was SHOWTIME!!!! soccer was the first game and luckily the sky started to clear for it. BUT we had a little situation, we din have enough girl for our mixed soccer team. we needed at least 2 girls so at 8.55a.m. our soccer captain told us girls (me, mel, pamela, jacq and jasmine) that he needed one girl, just to stand there... heehee ... mel and pam had badminton, jacq had volley ball, jasmine doesn't play sport and phey yee's dodgeball was at 2 p.m. and since she LOVEs IMSS so much -- i played for IM. that was my very first experince playing soccer and my role was to defend and to guard the girls of the other team. =P it wasn't too bad, at least i didn't kick the ball into our opponent's goal :D

IMSS was red, IL was white, IC was blue, IE was black

BASKETBALL

ICSS v IMSS

this is the best shot!!! the IL guy was guarding his balls/ testis from the violent IE guy LOLx

I think his shirt was way too big for him

SOCCER

IMSS v IESS

DODGEBALL

i was the "game manager" for dodgeball =D i have to say that IMSS' guys are really GREAT at dodgeball but undeniably, IL's was better!!! but well, IM is still the BEST ^^
