Starting Out My Journey As a Doctor to Be

my first year has OFFICIALLY come to an end

it is hard to believe but yeah, i am done with my first year in med school. i can still remember clearly that there was once when i kept on wondering how my first year would be like, how am i going to survive all those exams, how am i going to interview a patient, both real and stimulated one, how am i going to survive in med school, so much wondering and so much self doubt... but now, i am done! this is amazing, time just flew past me and for the next time i step into the medical building, i can no longer introduce myself as a first year, i have no more excuse to get things wrong, i have no more excuse to get lost in the med building, i have no excuse to not know where the library's books are... now i know why all my seniors asked me to enjoy my 1st 'while you still can' as one of them said. and trust me, first year is going to be the best year in your whole medical career! sounds scary? not really, i am anticipating. i DO NOT look forward to become a 2nd year but i DO look forward of being a doctor who is eligible of holding a scapel on her hands *dreaming and smiling*

so that's it, my first year is gone and with that i lost my youth, and my parents losing quite a huge amount of $$$ but for me, it's worth it, it is worth so much that i am glad that i have chosen this path, i think this is the best decisions i have ever made in my still short life and pheyyee is contented!

and heck i think i am getting sick. i had sore throat on sunday and now, just a couple of minutes ago, i started to have running nose! oh dayem! but i am grateful that it happens after my exam! so i am still happy and contented! =)

so since today was the last day of exam, i brought my camera to REB to capture the moment when all the med students attained their liberty, show time :-

and the three girls who are always seen together. and i know my hair sux but hey, it was exam and when i am doing serious business, i will tie my hair up! i did so for all of my exams except my practical exam (which i think i won do well since i did not treat it seriously enought) so next time whenever there is exam, phey yee will show up with her aunty hair

after the exam, we went to crown to celebrate PJ's birthday which was just a few days before the exam. we had buffet and went to archade, and i stepped into the casino!!!! so sad PJ din bring his ID so we can't gamble ==" but hey, it was an experience, the guard stared at my pic for at least 1 minutes before he said i can go in. haha, i assume that it's a good thing since i've changed quite a lot since i first had my IC which was 6 and a half years ago =D
