settling down

so lately i have been busy moving house. we had our clothes- 6 luggages moved yesterday (tuesday) and today we moved everything else i.e. textbooks, our notes, heater, cooking utensils, cutlery, food, accessories....literally everything. today's task was hard and what more it rained throughout the day o.O damn weather, it is summer now but it is feaking 12 degree this afternoon, melbourne's weather is nothing but crazy.

we were supposed to call the building manager to help us with our moving and so we did. sis called him yesterday informing him that we are planning to move in on that very day but he told us that we should give them a 24 hours notice beforehand so we waited until today. we made an appointment for today after lunch and sis called him again when we were on our way to Milano BUT he asked sis to call back after our stuffs are in the lobby. you know what does it mean? it means we have to move our stuffs from the cab on our own @_@ okie fine, so we did. and after we were at the lobby, sis called him for the 3rd time and after a lengthy 5-10 minutes, he finally showed up. you should see his face when he saw us, or to be more precise when he saw our stuffs. firstly, there was shock, and then i think he looked pissed and then he reached for his walkie talkie and asked for help! haha, it was hilarious, this was the karma for making us wait. =P

our stuffs... just for your information, there were still a luggage and two boxes hiding somewhere in the 2D photo.

now you might wonder~ how do you fit all those things into ur bird cage apartment? oh well, tell you what, it fits nicely. apparently our bird cage is for peacocks rather than for sparrows =D

SHOWTIME

(mum has been really worried about our moving, don't worry mum, we won screw up, enjoy the photos yay)

since kitchen is the heart and soul of a house (definitely not for sis but yes for me), i will start with our kitchen.

KITCHEN

plates and bowls and mugs and rice cooker and blenders and toasters

a kitchen is not a kitchen if there is no tupperware. i am going to bring over more tupperwares when i come back to melb next year. i love tupperware's tupperware

some snacks and shopping bags

if i haven't yet told you, the kitchen will be red and black oriented =D

and we bought a microwave from harvey norman yesterday and it fits nicely. (of course it fits, i had it measured before i bought it ^^ cause if it doesn't fit and i have to walk back to the store, u might as well kill me) thank you jeremy for carrying the microwave

there is a little anecdote behind the microwave. we have been comparing prices and brand before we decided on which to buy and heck we even consider the weight ==" i wonder who does that but me and sis did. the thing is, we don have a car, and harvey norman is on a freaking 4th floor, and the distance between our home and the place we bought the microwave is not too far but is no where near close (meaning tram or walking is too difficult and taxi wouldn't want to fetch us), and like it or not, we are still girls and there are limitations -- my physicals strength i mean. i tried to carry the microwaves but it is HEAVY. trust me, when i say it is heavy, it really is cause you know what ai ming calls me? 大力士小姐 == ” so, again, sis asked jeremy for help. and you know what that crossed my mind at that split second? where are my friends? dayem it, loser ~~~ i always feel too uncomfortable to ask o.O

a double bed with two side tables, 2 wardrobes (1 for sis and 1 for me) and a wooden table

birthday cards for my 18th b'day and a little white note card from Jacq just before swot vac, gucci ribbon taken from mom's gucci paper bag and just to clear thing up, she did buy a gucci.

left side table: doggie from jess and doreen for my 17th b'day and a basket of bears. there are five of them indicating our family, mum bought them for me for my 16th birthday. =)

right side table: my accessories. i just LOVE this
and this is the tiny woodern table where all my books are placed. me and sis decided not to get a bookshelve =D save money and space and strenght =D
my wardrobe. ahem... there are still space for new clothes!!!

WASHROOM

i put on this new jelly flower on the mirrow and now our wash room looks like a real washroom with towel and flower

the sistas have a HOME now~~~

and if you are wondering how is sis progressing, oh well, picture speaks a thousand words.

she was sleeping while i was unpacking and tidying up my room, the kitchen, and the study area. i am so bored i invaded the washroom which is under her territory... =="

oh well, she is not to be blamed. the weather is, it rained and it is so cold and comfy on her bed

NIGHTVIEW FROM HOME

we are on the 25th floor so the view are spectacular. but i still haven't figure out where med school is =="

see the building on the left, it's law school. med school should be in a 100m locus but i have no idea where it is o.O

okie dokie, me need to shower and sleep. see ya people! i love my home

P.S. jess and ai ming left this morning and afternoon respectively. couldn't believe i am actually missing them. when we came home tonight and shouted hello we are home, there is no reply ;) oh well, at least they are at home now. SCREW SIA
