of polka dots and house party and oven baked goodies

good food, homey ambience, fluffy carpet, lazing around on the couch and bean bags, chatting casually and laughing loudly without worrying about the neighbouring table, flexible time, dun have to scream when u talk to people at the other end of the table - that's what we have in mind. but somehow, we (i mean I) forgot about the cooking =.=

and by the time i realized that food is required in house party, it was a little too late for me to convince mel to eat out

because she had already compiled a stack of new recipes she was too eager to try out. and i did not dare to not have a house party

we managed to pull it off. but let's simply put it this way - i made the roast chicken, mel did everything else, so let's eat out next year my dear. dun worry about the table next to us. and it's okay to shout when you talk. really

and as usual, the birthday girl din get a say on her birthday cake.

nobody had a say

because i become pretty frantic when it comes to baking and i guess nobody - i mean NOBODY dare to say 'leave my cake alone'

yes i am that scary when it comes to baking

and i think i am i getting better =D

but meanwhile, i will keep on baking.

and this my dear friends, is a cheesecake infused with flavourful aromatic lemon and orange zest

and this is the cherry topping to go with the yummylicious cheesecake

and this is my cheesecake post-trimming.

and this is what happen when the cherry and cheesecake become one
it's seductively inviting.
NO?
but because i dun like cheese, the seductive factor only affected me until i sliced it up. which i believed is a good thing. because 5 tubs of creamcheese are not sth everybody can handle :P
No i am not asking you not to try this out. it would be you biggest mistake if you didn't.
so go ahead and visit your happy land. (recipe)
life is too short
HAPPY SUNDAY PEOPLE!
p.s. do not entry is the new phrase of the year. and i invented it. so stop laughing =.=
