first week at home

gee i have not blogged for more than half a month, and nope i am not busy, it was just pure laziness =p. now it's time for a little update. first week was kind of simple, we came to office on week days and during weekend, we went shopping or to be more precise, we spent =D there are too much to be told so i shall start with my hair, which i had been complaining since months ago.
haircut
i have my hair cut twice in 3 days and that was ridiculous. i had my first hair cut on thursday, our usual hair stylist and i was pretty contended with the outcome.
and on saturday, we went to another place near our house where mum and brother usually go to do our hair treatment. and after all the washing, steaming, the hair dresser told me that he was going to trim my hair a little and i emphasized that only a wee bit cause i've just had it cut 2 days ago BUT he literally chopped my hair ==" now my hair is so thin and light and hard to maintain *argh*
yes i am pissed!
and for my little brother, his hair is okie~ he was really funny though, look at his facial expression, it looks that he was having his hair plucked rather than cut =="

"beware of ur scissors uncle"

"and your freaking nails too"

brother and sister

after that, we went over to butterworth to have lunch with mum. i have to say that sis is a highly skilled driver *thumbs up* it is good to not have to drive =p. on the way...

zhung ee was playing with his tongue. ultimate cuteness!!!
ultimate coolness!!!
cause he is my brother ^^

after lunch, we went to gurney plaza to do "some" shopping. we bought zhung ee a couple of jeans so that he won freeze his butt of when we go to japan this saturday. and for sis and me, ahem, let's have the photos do the talking:-

girls and mirror and the happy victim

the sista

on sunday morning, we went yumcha together! it has been a routine for us to have breakfast at shangrila everytime we go home, the food is not very nice but like dad said, it is the quality time we have that matters.

the best parents on earthzhung ee and me. my ipod has been occupied by him since i came home.
time flies but we are still we =)
shoes
shoes deserve an individual section cause we actually bought quite a number of shoes. they are just adorable and irrisistable *faint*

sis bought two

i bought 5 (in less than 30 minutes)

okok i know i was impulsive, i shouldn't have bought so many but i have huge feets and it is just so hard for me to find shoes of my size. and flats are hard to find as well since poeple nowadays are getting shorter and shorter and all prefer heels, and pretty flats are even harder to look for. and there are times when no matter how hard you try, you are still unable to find ONE pair of shoes that you like, that was what happened to me last time. enough of craps, i know i am bad but just to clarify, my flats ain't expensive =D

proudly present my babies, i think i am going to name them.

this is really comfortable so i will call it comphey-silvyee (comfi-silvi)
aussies pronounce phey as fi ==" oh well, at least i can integrate my name into my babies' names =D
white and flowery --> snowyee blossom
cinderellyee =D
floro.carlo
i am running out of idea so i will just call it sneaker.
oh yea, before you start to conclude that phey yee is a bad arse who knows only to spend money and visit hair salon, i am going to show u a little something to rescue my reputation:-

i bake
*
nestum cake
mum's favourite and the easiest cake that one can bake! gee i LOVE all those baking utensils that i have at home! they complete me =D

Onde-Onde

i tried making onde-onde (orange one) before in Melb on the Mooncake Festival but i have been craving to make them again and to make them PURPLE. and so went i went to market with mum, i bought some purple sweet potatoes and fresh grated coconut.

the purple is very purple indeed, unbelievalble!

distorted shape onde-onde. i was so hungry by then i was going to faint! thanks mum for helping with the wrapping!

TADAH!

aren't they lovely?
"you have to say yes"

MISSION ACCOMPLISED

and i am pretty happy with the outcome. more baking to come =D oh yea!

P.S. feel like i am wasting my time, i am looking to do some med-human-related work duirng this holiday but i am going nowhere. maybe i shall wait till i come back from japan, but seriously, i dun want to just slack through out my holiday.
