of thesis and love actually and detective with a shield

it's the time of the year when i am due to have some sort of random thoughts again. so bear with me.

i have killed 11 mosquitoes this eveneing, and one was found in my tea cup. what's going on? and i just killed the 12th and the 13th.

the dead line is looming in and i am - what's the word - stressed. typical presentation: i started to eat and snack a lot, i stay home most of time doing work, i am itching to bake, and i update my blog more often. oh and i also pleated my hair. oh yea baby, they are all coming back to me now. bugger.

but still, i managed to squeeze in CSI NY here and there. and parts and pieces of Love Actually too. I have always liked Don Flack. and Mr. Darcy. but then Hugh Grant is kind charming too. crushes. phases. dang they are so very likeable.

i enjoy drawing graphs and doing stats. yes i do. i am always a little different. only a little. 'if moderation is good, more is better' - sounds familiar doesn't it? i quoted this from the pioneer woman countless times before. but for once, for ONCE i beg to defer, 48 ++ bar charts nearly killed me. no kidding. and stats for that matter too. the first few was pretty challenging, the following few, pretty interesting, then next few, extremely rewarding, and then it became pretty repetitive, then it got boring, then labourious, then suffocating. so for today, moderation is good. full stop.

and then it was lit review. well you tell me how enjoyable it is.

i like waking up early. okay let me rephrase, i like the feeling of being able to wake up early and get something productive done before lunch.but i dun like waking up early in the morning. aha, that sounds more like it.

i just killed the 14th mosquito. they should know better than come resting on my forearm, shouldn't they?

i am technologically, directionally and linguisticly challenged. the only thing that i can do at ease is to reach up to the upper kitchen cabinet to get our well stored oatmeal. i dun need a bench. and that's handy.

i need a haircut.

i need a non-pituitary adenoma related book to read.

i need a complete version of Love Actually.

i need to finish my thesis by Monday.

so i can't keep on running
no i just can't keep on running away from here,
i know the only way to beat it is to fight it my every fear,
i am not going to make it till i turn around and face it alone,
i know that i can't keep on running,
no i just can't keep on running away,
so it stops today
